A bag for Daisy.

This year for Christmas I made a bag for Daisy.

Since Denim is so durable, and most folks like it, I decided to go with it.

I used a printed cotton for the lining, and “D” rings on the straps. There is a large pocket on the lining, and a decorative, but practical one on the outside.

I think she likes it!

T-shirt quilt for Bear.

Ever since I made a T-Shirt quilt for my son-in-law, my grandbaby has been asking me for one of her own.

Of course, I will make one for you!

I thought it would be nice to get it made in time for Christmas. Which I did. : ) I also made a body pillow with some of the leftovers.

I think she is pleased.

New aprons for Bear.

My grandbaby loves to help in the kitchen. Sadly, she has outgrown one of her aprons. Well, I can fix that.

I decided to make one reversable, Halloween and Christmas. The other is just an upsize from her first apron, “Sneaker Kitty”. Fingers crossed she likes them.

A t-shirt quilt for ARM.

My son-in-law has been telling me for ages that he is saving his T-shirts and would like me to make a quilt for him. Well, that time has come!

His many shirts with mostly large logos made a very large quilt. The process does take time, and this one was no exception. However, it did go quicker than the ones I made in the past.

After much fusible interfacing, and adjusting the logos, I came up with a nice layout and got to sewing.

I think it looks pretty good, and luckily, He LOVES it. : – )

New kitchen curtains.

It has been years since I made curtains for my kitchen windows. I usually have stripes, but I decided it was time for a change and those stripes had to go!

I normally wouldn’t choose yellow, but I had a flat sheet that was perfect for the job. I do have yellow tile, so I guess it was a “no brainer”.

I am pleased!

Cover this logo!

I was gifted a baseball cap recently and I didn’t care for the logo. Since I am good with a needle and thread, I decided to change it.

I had the perfect shade of green fabric, with a super cute “alien” print. Yep! This will work!

Zippered pouch.

I recently made a new “crossbody” bag for myself. I decided to make a little zippered pouch to go with it.

It has been a while since I have made something for myself. The bag I have been using does not stay on my shoulder and makes me a little nuts. I wanted a “Crossbody” bag. So, I started digging through my denim and decided to go with black denim this time. I used a pattern! I never do this. I usually improvise, but I wanted to try this one. I did do some improvising, but the size and shape are the pattern.

Two zippers, lots of extra pockets and a place for my keys.

Just because.

A while back, a neighbor gave me a large shopping bag full of Denim. I decided to use some of it to make a tote for her. I finished it today.

Julie has been very helpful assisting a family member with day-to-day errands and household chores. I felt she needed a little something extra for all her efforts. I wanted to make a tote especially for her using denim. I used pockets for the starting point and went from there. It worked out great! I am very pleased, and so is Julie.  : )
